THE HEALING POWER OF SACRED BROTHERHOOD

There is a very specific alchemy of healing that can happen when men come together with other men in a safe and deeply honest way.

A level of healing can be accessed that simply cannot be accessed in other kinds of social or retreat environments.

Something ancient is remembered at the level of the nervous system, a relaxation occurs, and the heart and body are able to release what it was previously holding onto so tightly.

THE LOCATION

Nimis, Dretzel Germany.

The retreat will take place in a small eco community and retreat center called Nimis in the small village of Dretzel, Germany just 90 minutes south west of Berlin.

The accommodations are simple, clean and beautifully appointed glamping bell tents with comfortable beds and fine linens, offering the perfect combination of comfort and intimacy with nature.

The property is peaceful, silent, private and tucked away in the nature on the German country side. It's very intimate and is the perfect place for the deep work

MEET YOUR GUIDE
IAN WILKES

Ian is a world class men's work facilitator and master coach, couples intimacy and relationship coach, breath-work and trauma release facilitator, and yoga/meditation teacher.

In 2012, Ian left his life as a night club promoter and hotel manager in New York City on a spontaneous longing for meaning, healing and truth.

Ian then spent 14 years and continuing in deep practice and study of ancient spiritual traditions and healing arts around the world. From living in ashrams in India, to Buddhist monasteries in Myanmar, to being an apprentice to an Ayahuasca shaman in the Amazon to studying with masters of modern healing modalities, to spending 3+ years in silent solitary retreats. This intense longing for truth and practice lead him to experience life changing healing and profound moments of deep understanding and illumination.

After many years spent in solitude on this journey a deeper integration began to take place when there was an awakening to the reality of the suffering of men and the epidemic of wounded masculinity on our planet. It was soon revealed that his true calling was to be in devoted service to the healing, maturation and awakening of men as well as re initiating the spiritual path of intimate relationship and the healing between the masculine and feminine.

Through that realization an absolute devotion arose to the study, experience and integration of men's work and relationship on the path of embodied awakening. Ian has now been holding life changing courses and retreats all over the world for 7 years for men and also for couples with his beloved wife Valentina.

He founded The Embodied King Men's Work, a thriving global brotherhood and complete spiritual path in itself for the healing and awakening of the masculine soul. In the field of relationship he also founded The Path of True Intimacy with his wife Valentina, a complete modality for the spiritual path of intimate relationship.

Because of his deep curiosity, fire for practice and openness to all angles of healing and spiritual awakening he studied and immersed himself deeply in many paths and modalities including Yoga, meditation, trauma release, psychotherapy, inner child work, Tantra, embodied intimacy, relationship therapy, plant medicine, shadow work, group therapy, men's work and much more.

Ian now combines his vast knowledge of all these modalities and his personal journey and relationship to support the prayer of healing and awakening for men, and couples through retreats and courses all of over the world.

There will be 3 organic vegan (if preferred) / vegetarian meals on the full days. Dinner and lunch on the half days Thursday the 18th and Sunday the 21st.

The retreat will start at 3pm on Thursday the 18th and end at 12pm on the Sunday the 21st.

Travel From Train Station to Venue
From Genthin train station to Nimis and back a shuttle will be available for €5 each way.

This can be booked before hand with our team and is paid in cash directly to the driver.

~ The Link Between Sexual Intimacy and Emotional Safety ~

So many people want to learn about sexual Tantra and how to practice, but if there is not a basis of emotional safety and maturity, there’s a whole other conversation and work that needs to come before that.

When sexual energy is alive in our bodies, especially when we're with someone we love, our nervous system starts to unfold like a flower.

1. I CLAIMED HER WITHOUT GRASPING

I claimed her heart fully, told her she was my Queen and my Queen alone, proposed and married her— yet without needing anything from her. I made her mine, yet she has always been free.

How?

Because I re-fathered my own pain, and did my own work. I never expected her to meet needs I didn’t transparently ask for, to be my mom or my therapist. I took full responsibility for my emotional healing, validation-seeking consciousness, and nervous system health.

2. I ESTABLISHED A CULTURE OF SAFETY

From the beginning I told her: when there’s conflict, I will guide us to breathe, stay together with our hurt, never make you wrong for what you’re feeling, create structure so we’re both heard and validated and take ownership anytime I'm out of integrity with this promise.

I then held that posture year in and year out until healing and trust became our normal way of being together.

3. I TRAINED MYSELF NOT TO COLLAPSE IN HER STORM

I’ve had my moments, but I never truly collapsed, ran away, or blew up.

Every storm was either immediately or eventually met with a straight spine, deep breath, regulated nervous system, and unwavering presence.

Years of nervous system training, shadow work, self remembrance and brotherhood made that possible.

4. I CREATE INTIMACY IN THE HARDEST MOMENTS

Even in dry spells, even when we could barely look at each other — I never let disconnection win.

I learned to turn resistance into deeper connection and deeper practice.

If she or I want to run away, I pull us closer together, I dont buy into the old story and learn to make love or practice in the moments when we thought it impossible.
